If you're willing to give something up after 7 months of "fighting" for it; then obviously it wasnt that important to you in the first place.
If you're willing to give it up, then give up. There's no use in putting yourself and others through the shit you're going through just because you're not willing to get your hands dirty.
The only way that you could possibly know that he's not into you is if he tells you. You'll know he especially doesn't like you when he decides that you're not good enough for him and that you should go fuck yourself.
You know what you want; theres no use in denying it. Put yourself in awkward positions, embarass yourself, thats what this is all about. Just have fun with it. Its only high school. Besides think about it; What have you got to loose? against What have you got to gain?
